Three hundred acres of wilderness at Seguin, in the middle of Muskoka, wrapped around three inland lakes that belong to the resort. That last part is what people underestimate. These are not public lakes with a resort on the edge of them. There is no through traffic, no jet skis arriving from a launch down the road, and no queue for the beach on a Saturday in July. Two sandy beaches, canoes, kayaks and paddleboats, and fishing off the dock. Parry Sound is twenty minutes away for anything you actually need. It is the most remote of the Bloom resorts, and that cuts both ways. If you want the same season closer to the city, [Flamborough](https://www.seasonalcottagesforsale.com/resorts/flamborough?hsLang=en) is inside an hour of the GTA. If you want to be at a resort all year rather than May to October, [Sunday Place](https://www.seasonalcottagesforsale.com/resorts/sunday-place?hsLang=en) is the one to look at. **Open 1 May to 31 October** Like all our seasonal resorts, Georgian Bay closes over the winter. It depends on how often you come and how many of you are there, which is why it is charged per pump-out rather than as a flat fee. A couple visiting some weekends pays considerably less than a family staying most of the summer. Ask us for the current rate and we will work through a realistic figure for your family before you commit. Why is insurance higher here?
