What we collect when you get in touch, what we do with it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.
The short version. Your enquiry stays with us. It is handled by a Seasonal Cottages For Sale team member based at the resort you asked about, and we do not pass it to the resort company or sell it to anyone. You can ask to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted, at any time.
Seasonal Cottages For Sale is part of Cascade Leisure Consultants, a trading name of 15771145 Canada Inc., a company incorporated federally in Canada, at 7097 Coach Drive, Niagara Falls, Ontario L2G 2J2. Where this policy says we or us, it means that company.
We hold exclusive rights to market cottages at Vine Ridge Resort, Bloom Resorts and Sunday Place. Each of those resorts is independently owned and operated, and none of them is part of our company.
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount that is gathered automatically when you use the site.
When you send an enquiry or book a visit, we collect what you enter on the form, which typically includes your name, your email address, your phone number and anything you tell us about what you are looking for.
When you email or call us, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can pick up where we left off.
When you browse the site, our website platform sets cookies that record pages viewed, how you arrived, and a device identifier. This is used to understand which pages are useful and to connect a later enquiry to the pages that prompted it.
We do not ask for financial information through this website. If you go on to apply for financing, that is handled separately by the lender, under their own terms.
Our own team. Enquiries stay within Seasonal Cottages For Sale. Each resort has a Seasonal Cottages For Sale sales manager based there, and that is who picks up your enquiry and contacts you. They work for us, not for the resort.
We do not pass your details to the resorts. Vine Ridge Resort, Bloom Resorts and Sunday Place are separate companies, and they do not receive your information from us.
HubSpot. This website, our forms, our booking calendar and our customer records all run on HubSpot, which processes the information on our behalf. HubSpot stores this data on servers in North America, which means it may be held or accessed in the United States and be subject to the laws there.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
We rely on your consent. Sending us an enquiry, booking a visit, or emailing us is how you give it, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did while it was in place.
We keep enquiry records for two years from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Where we are required to keep records for longer, for tax or legal reasons, we keep only what is required for as long as it is required.
Under Canadian privacy law you can:
Write to hello@seasonalcottagesforsale.com and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge. Because everything stays with us, one request covers all of it.
The site uses cookies set by HubSpot to keep the site working, to remember your preferences, and to measure which pages are read. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work, but we will not be able to connect an enquiry to the pages that led to it.
Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. Our platform holds the data encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, and we cannot promise that it is, but if something goes wrong that affects you we will tell you.
This site is meant for adults looking to buy a cottage or a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will remove it.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be explained here rather than slipped in.
For anything about your information, including a request to see or delete it, contact the privacy contact at 15771145 Canada Inc.:
